Had I not been trapped behind someone driving 40 mph all the way from Addison to Ferrisburgh today I might have reached a good spot for shooting the alpenglow on Camel’s Hump at just the right time. I had to settle for a pink-hued version of the blue hour, which nonetheless allowed for some nice layering with the 400mm lens.
This turned out to be quite a successful excursion- I was on my way home from having picked up a life bird (Harris’s Sparrow in Bridport), and when I got home my neighbor/boss brought over a new (to me) snowblower. Thanks Dean!
